Be Respectful
Treat every neighbor with kindness. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive language is never tolerated and will result in removal from the marketplace.
Honor Your Commitments
If you agree to a trade or sale, follow through. Show up on time, bring what you promised, and communicate proactively if plans change.
Be Honest
Represent your produce and goods accurately. Never mislead about freshness, origin, or growing practices. Trust is the foundation of Plut.
Communicate Clearly
Respond to messages promptly. Confirm pickup times, quantities, and prices before meeting. Clear communication prevents misunderstandings.
Safety Tips
- 1Collect inside the pickup window you agreed to, and prefer daylight hours.
- 2Pay in the app before pickup — the money is held until you confirm the handoff, and a cash or Venmo side-deal leaves you nothing to fall back on.
- 3Inspect produce and goods before completing a transaction.
- 4Tell a neighbor or family member where you're going and who you're meeting.
- 5Trust your instincts — if something feels off, cancel the transaction.
- 6Report any concerning behavior to Plut immediately through the Contact page.
What We Expect
- Rate your neighbors honestly after every transaction — it keeps the community trustworthy.
- Keep your profile and contact preferences up to date so neighbors can coordinate with you.
- Only list items you actually have ready or will have within the agreed timeframe.
- Respect privacy — never share another neighbor's address or contact info.
- Help your ZIP code reach its unlock goal by inviting neighbors.
